CCIE info update: new info about CCIE written exam:

I've found a posting in cramsession's boards by someone who took the new version of CCIE written quite recently.

http://www.cramsession.com/boards/vbm.asp?m=776014

If I may summarize the discussion,

->There were more QoS questions than expected:
->There were many BGP related questions as well:
->Some SNMPv3 related questions which seems to have gotton to him.
->Boson tests no recommended for the new version.
->Scorring 95% on Boson won't get you closer to passing the exam.
->For QoS, DQoS book should be used.
DQoS book? probably this one?
->Just stick to the new Blueprint and read the CCO docs.
->SRB,SR/TLB,DLSW+ removed... =>this is the same as what I confirmed.
->Overall, Cisco seems to have steered this exam more towards config-oriented and more toward lab-like questions rather than theories.

Hmmm, I've just started to write about Multicast to refresh my memory about Multicast.
If there is only gonna be a couple of questions on this subject, then I shouldn't
be spending so much time on this.

It is probably time for change. What would I write about?

QoS? Nah. I don't think so. I can probably never say that I fully understand this subject.

BGP? Ah I don't know.

Well, I'll sleep over it and think about it tomorrow morning.
