paradoxical
I sometimes wonder where I am trying to go by putting this many
hours into work and study. I really wonder.
I know that, without love, families and good friends, my life becomes so fruitless and meaningless no matter how important job I am taking on or how much money I am making.
At the same time however,
I cannot deny in any way that life becomes so painful as soon as I admit that I am spending more than 8-10 hours a day just to earn money to have good time with famiilies and friends on weekends.
I can never have fun on weekends if I spend 50 hours of boring work time on weekdays.
I guess this is a paradox that many people face in modern society.
Doing something you love is of course the best. But never will it be easy to find one.
Find what you love the most.
