Nikujaga
I cooked Nikujaga tonight.
This certainly does not look as good as it tastes. But this is damn good Nikujaga I can tell you. This dish is a typical Japanese food many people call "mother's taste", as you know.
But I've never learnt how to cook Nikujaga from my mother.
In fact I never learnt or ever wanted to learn how to cook anything from her. She is such a wonderful human being, but was and still is awful at cooking.
Anyway, so I learnt this myself. The key of my Nikujaga is the beef. Many use sliced beef for it, right?
But I never use them. I choose minsed beef instead and stew the soup for a long time so your minsed beef can absorb in so much good stuff.
Hmm. Yum!
My next cooking lesson is "how to cook cheese cake that'll surely impress a girl friend(or a potential one)"(ウソ)
Thanks for reading. Pls come back next week!
