Book Review

Finally, I finished reading this book, "Deception Point".

It is pretty entertaining.

But I had similar impression as the one I had when I read "Digital Fortress". Dan Brown has good skills of making people to keep turning pages. But he does not do well at the finale and leaves one with a feeling of unsatisfactory reading.

This may be why some people call his book "good for a 2-3hours flight".

Also the descriptions of each character are too shallow that i cannot really be convinced of their motives.

And he kills too many people too fast which makes me wonder if he is trying to write a good book or trying to write a book that is likely to become a movie one day.

On the other hand, it has positive side as well. I particularly enjoyed his clever plotting which I guessed wrong several times.

Overall, it was enjoyable and easy to read book. But I am not sure if I will read another of his book.
