無線LAN WLCの設定 その2

WLCの設定方法

WLCを設定するには、次の2つの方法があります。

  • CLI
  • GUI(Webブラウザ)

CLIでのWLCの設定は、ルータやスイッチと同じようにWLCのコンソールポート
とコンピュータのシリアルポートをコンソールケーブルで接続します。そして、
Tera Termなどのターミナルソフトウェアからコマンドを入力して設定します。
GUIでの設定は、WebブラウザでWLCのManagementインタフェースのIPアドレス
を指定してログインします。デフォルトではHTTPSの接続のみ有効です。追加
の設定によってHTTP接続も有効化することができます。
WebブラウザでGUIの設定を行うためには、ManagementインタフェースのIPアド
レスを設定しておかなければいけません。そのため、まず、初期設定をCLIで
行います。初期設定で、ManagementインタフェースやAP Managerインタフェー
スなどのIPアドレス、ログインするための管理者アカウントの作成などの設定
を行います。
CLIによる初期設定が完了すれば、ブラウザからGUIの設定を行っていきます。

初期設定を行うには、対話型のコンフィグレーションウィザードを利用すると
便利です。コンフィグレーションウィザードでは、次の設定を行うことができ
ます。

  • System Name
    WLCのホスト名
  • Adminisitrative User Name
    管理用ユーザ名
  • Adminisutrative Password
    管理用パスワード
  • Management Interface IP Address
    ManagementインタフェースのIPアドレス
  • Management Interface Netmask
    Managementインタフェースのサブネットマスク
  • Management Interface Default Router
    Managementインタフェース上のデフォルトゲートウェイ
  • Management Interface VLAN Identifier
    Managementインタフェースに対応づけるVLAN番号。VLAN番号「0」はタグつ
    けしないことを意味します
  • Management Interface Port Num
    Managementインタフェースに対応づけるディストリビューションシステムポ
    ート
  • Management Interface DHCP Server IP Address
    Managementインタフェース上のクライアントに対するDHCPサーバのIPアドレ
    ス
  • AP Manager Interface IP Address
    AP ManagerインタフェースのIPアドレス。Managementインタフェースと同じ
    サブネットのIPアドレスを設定します。
  • AP Manager Interface DHCP Server
    AP Managerインタフェース上のLightweightアクセスポイントに対するDHCP
    サーバのIPアドレス
  • Virtual Gateway IP Address
    VirtualインタフェースのIPアドレス。「1.1.1.1」などの通常利用しないIP
    アドレスを使用します。
  • Mobility/RF Group Name
    モビリティ機能を提供するためのモビリティグループ名
  • Network Name(SSID)
    SSID
  • Allow Static IP Address
    無線LANクライアントでスタティックIPアドレスの設定を許容するかどうか
  • Configure a RADIUS Server now?
    RADIUSサーバを今、設定するかどうか
  • Country Code
    カントリーコード。国によって電波の規制が異なるため、カントリーコード
    を指定します。
  • Enable 802.11b Network
    2.4GHz帯のIEEE802.11bを有効化するかどうか
  • Enable 802.11a Network
    5GHz帯のIEEE802.11aを有効化するかどうか
  • Enable 802.11g Network
    2.4GHz帯のIEEE802.11gを有効化するかどうか
  • Enable Auto-RF
    RRM(Radio Resource Management)機能を有効化するかどうか

コンフィグレーションウィザードでWLCの初期設定を行うと、その設定を保存
して自動的にWLCは再起動します。
